The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store - Just Believe CAS Christmas Card

Hello and happy Friday!  I can't believe how fast this month has just flown by.  Next week it will be Thanksgiving here in the States.  Now is the time to be working on Christmas cards before all the hustle and bustle of the holiday season sets in.  Today, I have a very CAS (Clean And Simple) Christmas card to share with you using some of the beautiful papers from Kaisercraft.

Here is a look at the card I designed.  Now I have good news and bad news.  The bad new is that the Christmas Jewel Collection is sold out--I'm very sorry!  But the good news is all of the Kaisercraft Collections have such a beautiful assortment of papers, cut apart images, and sentiments you could very easily recreate this card with any of the other collections.  With a few layers of paper, a little foam tape and some Petaloo Baby Blooms Purple flowers this card came together in a matter of minutes.

Here is a close up of the sentiment and flowers.  You can also see the pretty foil detail on the paper.  A lot of the Kaisercraft Collections include foiling and sometimes embossed papers too.

To finish the card I added the layered card front panel to a white A2 top folding card base.

Thank you so much for joining me today and I hope you enjoyed this CAS Christmas card.  If you would like to see more card inspiration I encourage you to visit the Stamp Simply Blog.  All of the supplies to create the card are listed and linked below and can be found at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Happy creating!

The Stamp Simply Store - Harvest Meadow Thanksgiving Card

Hello everyone!  Today, I have a CAS (Clean And Simple) Fall card to share with you using one of the Stamp Simply Clear Stamp sets and the beautiful papers from the Wild Rose Studio - Harvest Meadow collection.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stamp Simply Clear Stamp - Give Thanks SS-009 stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on to a small piece of paper from the collection.  Then I layered it with another piece of the paper in a reddish orange color.  I used that same paper for a layered mat on the card.  For the card front I used a beautiful pattern paper with some wildflowers.  I added some Foam Tape behind the sentiment for some dimension.

Next, I added some May Arts 3/8" Solid Two Tone Copper ribbon with a bow down the left side of the card.  To finish off the card I added some Petaloo Botanica Collection Red Minis and Peach Minis.

The card base is an ivory A2 top folding card.  This is another paper collection that would be great to make multiple CAS cards.  If you like the card design but would rather not have the bulk from the bow and flowers for mailing you could just have a strip of the ribbon on the side and maybe add some enamel dots or sequins.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  If you would like to see more card inspiration from the design team I encourage you to check out the Stamp Simply Blog.  All of the supplies used to create the card are listed and linked below and can be found at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

Happy Crafting!

The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store - Peace On Earth Christmas Card with Ink Smooshing.

Hello everyone and happy Friday!  Today, I have a beautiful Christmas card to share with you using one of the stamp sets and die sets from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

Here is a look at the card I designed.  Don't you just love the soft colors in the background?  I had some fun playing with the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks.  But you might be surprised to know I did the ink smooshing technique and achieved such light colors.  Actually I didn't lol.  The secret is to use a vellum overlay.

Here is a look at the paper with the smooshing technique.  The vellum makes such a huge difference.  I used im Holtz Distress Oxide Inks - Wilted VioletSalty Ocean, and Faded Jeans.

I stamped the sentiment on to the Vellum and the star on to a piece of white cardstock using VersaMark Ink and then heat embossing with Ranger Super Fine Detail Embossing Powder.  I used the Stamp Simply Steel Dies - Merry Christmas Star SS-DIE008 to die cut the star.

Here is a close up of the star.  I added some imply Stories Record It Enamel Dots for embellishments and added Foam Tape to pop up the star.  I applied adhesive to the backside of the vellum where the star and enamel dots are to hold the vellum in place on the card front.

Here is a close of the sentiment and the background.

To finish off the card I trimmed down the watercolor and vellum and added foam tape to the back and then added the card front to a white A2 top folding card base.  This card came together pretty quick and easy and would be a great one to make multiples of if you don't mind your fingers getting a little inky.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  If you would like to see more card inspiration I encourage you to check out the Stamp Simply Blog.  All supplies used for the card are listed and linked below and can be found at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

Happy Crafting!

The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store - Letters to Santa CAS Christmas Card

Hello everyone and happy Friday!  Today, I have a beautiful but CAS (Clean And Simple) Christmas card to share with you.  If you have followed me for any length of time you know I love KaiserCraft paper pads.  They always have so many gorgeous papers and in the back of each paper pad they have a few pages of cut apart images and sentiments.  These work great for CAS card!

Here is a look at the card I designed.  Check out those papers and the beautiful image of Santa!  The Letters To Santa paper pad does NOT disappoint!  When you have such wonderful papers to work with the cards come together so quickly.  I used three sheet of pattern paper from the collection and one of the cut apart images.  I layered the paper adding some Foam Tape in between for some extra dimension.  Then I added some beautiful May Arts Red 1.5" Sheer Wrinkled Edge ribbon and a few Petaloo Bontanica Collection Red Mini FlowersNOTE:  We are nearly sold out of the Red Minis. (1 pack left at the time of this edit) A good alternative are the Red Baby Blooms. They are the exact color and size, just a tad bit different in style.  They’ll work perfectly on a card such as this.I used my Zig Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen to add some sparkle to Santa's hat, the flowers, and also the poinsettias and holly leaves on the paper.

Here is a close up to see some of the sparkle.  You can click on any of the images to enlarge them and see more detail.

Here is another close up picture.  I just love this image of Santa!

I added the card front to a ivory A2 top folding card base.  Like I said the KaiserCraft paper pads are filled with so many beautiful papers, cut apart images and sentiments you would be able to create several Christmas cards.  If you are wanting to mail Christmas cards and don't want the bulk of the flowers you could always add some sequins, pearls, or rhinestones in place of the flowers.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I hope you enjoyed today's card share.  If you would like to see more card inspiration I encourage you to check out the Stamp Simply Blog.  All of the supplies used for the card are listed and linked below and they can be found at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

What's Brewing? Halloween Canvas - Tonic Studios

Hello everyone!  Today, I have a Halloween canvas to share with you.  I just love all of the Halloween dies that Tonic came out with this year!  I always think it's fun to make holiday home decor pieces and I thought it would be fun to make a Halloween canvas.

How fun is this?

I used crystal drops, glitter drops, and some of the glow drops to look like bubbles coming out of the cauldron.

Here is a close up so you can see some of the glow drops in action.

Here is another look at the finished canvas.

This what's brewing canvas was so quick, easy, and fun to make.  It's a great addition to my Halloween home decor pieces.  To see more pictures and find out all of the details I have a full picture step-by-step tutorial over on the Tonic Studios blog.  You can click HERE to see the tutorial.

The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store - Merry Christmas Watercolor Card with Distress Oxide Inks

Hello everyone!  Today, I have a Christmas card to share with you using one of the New stamp sets from Stamp Simply Clear Stamps - O Christmas Tree SS-021.  This is a beautiful stamp set with three different Christmas trees and several sentiments.

Here is a look at the card I designed.  I did some masking of the trees, heat embossing and watercolor with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks.

To start I prepped my paper with the EK Success Powder Tool.  Then I stamped the tree on to the center of the Ranger Watercolor paper with VersaMark Ink.  Next, sprinkle on some of the Ranger Super Fine Detail Embossing Powder and then use a heat tool to melt the powder.  I stamped the image of the tree on to a piece of Inkadinkado Stamping Mask Sheet and then I fussy cut the tree.  I didn't do a detailed cut on the mask since it was branches and pine needle.  I figured the stamped images would kind of blend together.

Here is a close up of the gold heat embossing.

I used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks to do the watercolor.  I used Cracked Pistachio and Lucky Clover for the tree.  For the sky I used Peacock FeathersSalty Ocean, and Faded Jeans.  I did a few layers of the watercolor and dried the paper with a heat tool in between the layers of color.  Then, I flicked clean water on to the sky and used a paper towel to blot up the excess water.  I love the look of the water droplets.  Next, I squeezed out a little of the shimmery fluid from a Zig Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen and added some water and then flicked that on to the paper.  It's hard to get a good photo but IRL the sky is so shimmery.  I heat set the paper again to make sure it was good and dry and then I heat embossed the sentiment on the top of the card front.

Here is a close up of the trees.  I added Ranger Glossy Accents and Ranger Distress Stickles - Rock Candy to the areas of snow on the trees.

I trimmed down the watercolor piece and added Foam Tape to the backside.  Then I added the panel to a white A2 top folding card base.  The watercolor on this card was very quick and easy---no techniques---just dropping in the color.  So it would be an easy card to mass produce for Christmas.

I hope you enjoyed today's card share.  If you would like to see more card inspiration I encourage you to visit the Stamp Simply Blog.  All supplies used to create this card can be found at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store - Joy and Happiness CAS Christmas Card

Hello everyone and happy Friday!  Today, I have a CAS (Clean And Simple) Christmas card to share with you using some of the beautiful Christmas papers from KaiserCraft.

Here is a look at the card I designed.  I used papers from the KaiserCraft - Christmas Edition 6-1/2'' Paper Pad.  This paper pad is non-traditional Christmas colors in shades of gray and winter white with silver foil accents.  As always there are plenty of cutout images and sentiments for making CAS cards.  Layer some beautiful papers, add some ribbon and embellishments and your done -- easy peasy!

Here is a close up of the sentiment.  I added some Foam Tape in between the layers for some added dimension.  Then, I added some May Arts - 1.5" Sheer w/Glitter Dots - White/Silver .  I love this ribbon --- it's one of my faves!  I added one of the Petaloo Botanica Collection Red Minis flowers and a few KaiserCraft Black Rhinestones and my card was done!

Happy Halloween Banner - Tonic Studios USA

Hello everyone!  I can't believe it's already October.  We've had kind of a strange start to the Fall weather with the warmer temps.  The start to the holidays will be here before we know it.  It seems like once school starts then the next thing it's Halloween and after that time just seems to fly by.  Today, I have a fun Halloween banner to share with you using some of the fantastic new Halloween dies from Tonic Studios.  I'm just sharing a few pictures here on my blog and if you would like to see the full tutorial you can click HERE to visit the Tonic Studios USA Blog.

Here is a look at the Happy Halloween banner.  Sorry the picture isn't very big.  It's hard to get a longer photo to fit in the space without cutting part of it off lol.  But if you click on the images you will be able to see larger ones with more detail.

I had so much fun creating this banner!  I used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks for the background on all of the banner pieces.  Once the banner was all assembled then I added glitter drops, crystal drops, and glow drops for embellishments.  I added the ruby slippers glitter drops to all of the spiders.  Halloween paper spiders are the only spiders I like lol.

Here is a close up to see where I added the glow drops on the haunted house.

This is the first banner piece.  I am loving the Halloween dies!  The next few pictures are close ups of each banner piece.

I also added some of the glow drops to the moon.

To finish off the banner I added seam binding in between each of the banner pieces.  I can't wait to hang this banner up and decorate for Halloween.

Don't forget if you would like to see the full tutorial you can click HERE to visit the Tonic Studios USA Blog.  Are you creating any home decor pieces for Halloween or fun cards, treat bags?  Halloween is a favorite at our house so I think we will be getting all of the decorations out this weekend.  Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Hugs & Smiles,
Heidi

The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store - There is Always Something to be Thankful For CAS Card

Hello and happy Friday!  Today, I have another CAS (Clean And Simple) Fall card to share with you using one of the new Stamp Simply Clear Stamps - Welcome Home SS-020.

Here is the card I designed.  Check out these beautiful papers from Bo Bunny - Dreams of Autumn!  All of the papers in this collection are so pretty and I love the little touches of turquoise and purple in the papers too.  The little foxes are so adorable!  I used a white A2 card base and added a piece of the pattern paper to the front of the card.  Then I used a couple more patterns of paper and layered them together.  I used the Tim Holtz Stamp Platform to stamp the sentiments from the Welcome Home stamp set.  I stamped the word Thankful three times going across the front to create a word border.  Then I added three colors of the May Arts Burlap String - Brown, Purple, Yellow and wrapped the center of the card.  I looped the ends of the burlap string and then added a Petaloo Botanical Collection Purple Baby Blooms flower to the center.

Here is a close up of the card.  I added a few Simple Stories Enchanted Enamel Dots for embellishments.  To finish off the card I added some Foam Tape in between the paper layers.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you enjoyed the CAS card.  If you would like to see more card inspiration I encourage you to check out the Stamp Simply Blog.  All supplies used to create the card can be found at

The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store - CAS Welcome Fall Card

Hello everyone and happy Friday!  Today, I have a CAS (Clean And Simple) Fall card to share with you using the New Welcome Fall SS-020 stamp set from Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

For my card I used some of the beautiful papers from the Authentique Bountiful collection.

I used the Tim Holtz Stamp Platform to stamp the image of the pumpkin from the Welcome Fall SS-020 stamp set using Altenew - Warm and Cozy (Sunkissed) ink.  I used a piece of the pattern paper to stamp on.

Here you can see a better image of the pattern paper I used.  I lined up the sentiment across the image of the pumpkin and then I used Altenew Coffee Break (Espresso) ink to stamp it.

I added a lot of shimmer to the leaves on the pattern paper and the sentiment using the Zig Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen.  The nice thing about this pen is that it doesn't leave harsh line so you can quickly go over images and don't have to worry about every little detail.

I used kraft paper to layer behind the sentiment.  I used Foam Tape in between a couple of the layers and then I added some really pretty Prima Crystals for embellishments.  I adhered the card front to the base of an A2 kraft top folding card.

Thank you so much for joining me today and I hope you like this card share.  If you would like to see more card inspiration form the design team I encourage you to check out the Stamp Simply Blog.  All of the supplies used to make this card can be found at

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs & Smiles,
Heidi

The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store - It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas CAS Card

Hello everyone!  Last week I shared a New Fall stamp set from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store and today I am sharing two New Christmas stamp sets.  It's never too early to start creating Christmas cards.  I know for myself it seems like after Halloween the time just goes by so fast and before you know it Christmas is here lol.

For today's card I went with non-traditional Christmas colors.  I used some of the beautiful papers from the KaiserCraft - Christmas Jewel collection to create a CAS (Clean And Simple) card.  The fun image of the Christmas tree is from the Stamp Simply Clear Stamps O Christmas Tree SS-021 and the sentiment is from the Wonder of Christmas Sentiments SS-022.  I used the Tim Holtz Stamp Platform to stamp the image and sentiment at the same time using VersaMark Ink.  Then I heat embossed using Ranger Super Fine Silver Embossing Powder and a heat tool. Before I did the stamping I also prepped the paper using the EK Success Powder Tool.  This is such a great little tool to have in your stash!  To color the little circles I didn't have the exact same color of purple so I used two Copic markers and touched them tip to tip to create the color I needed.  Then I colored in the rest of the tree with the Zig Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen.

Here is a close up to see all of the shimmer on the Christmas tree.  I also added some Ranger - Glossy Accents to the little circles.  On the polk-a-dot paper I colored the dots around the outer edge with the Wink of Stella to add even more shimmer.

I layered a couple different pieces of the pattern paper and used some Foam Tape in between to the layers for some added dimension.  If you wanted to make the card even more CAS you could skip the foam tape in between the layers and the glossy accents.  This would be a quick and easy card to make multiples of for Christmas.  The card base is a white A2 top folding card.

Thanks so much for joining me today!  If you would like to see more card inspiration using the New Stamp Simply Clear Stamps I encourage you to check out the Stamp Simply Blog.  All of the supplies used to create my card can be found at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

I hope you are having a wonderful and creative week!

Hugs & Smiles,
Heidi
